SKCDS Selects WSDA to Provide Association Management Services

Seattle-King County Dental Society (SKCDS) is entering a new chapter in how we support our members and manage the day-to-day operations of the Society.

Last month, the SKCDS Executive Council invited several organizations to submit proposals to provide staffing and operational support for the Society. After a thoughtful review of proposals from three organizations, the SKCDS Executive Council selected the Washington State Dental Association (WSDA) to provide association management services for a one-year term effective September 24, 2026.

Under this new arrangement, WSDA will provide staffing and day-to-day administrative support, while the SKCDS Executive Council will continue to lead the Society and retain full governance and fiduciary responsibility for the organization.

The SKCDS Executive Council plans to hold a virtual town hall meeting to discuss this change and answer any questions our members may have. The date and time of this meeting are to be determined and will be communicated to members when finalized. In the meantime, please direct questions to skcds@wsda.org.

While this new arrangement represents a change in how SKCDS is staffed, our mission and commitment to our members remain the same. We look forward to working closely with WSDA to ensure a smooth transition and to continue providing strong programs, resources, advocacy, and support for dentists throughout Seattle and King County.
