Department of Health’s Office of Health Professions, in coordination with the
Office of Investigative and Legal Services, is recruiting expert witnesses to
support their work in regulating dental healthcare professionals.
Expert witnesses play a
vital role in protecting the public by providing professional review and
testimony in cases involving credentialed health professionals. Their expertise
helps ensure that Washington Dental Commission's (WDC) licensing and disciplinary processes are fair, accurate,
and grounded in sound clinical judgment.
WDC is currently

What does it
involve?
Expert witnesses review case materials, provide written opinions, and may be
called upon to testify in administrative hearings. Participation is on an
as-needed basis, and expert
witnesses are compensated for their time and expertise.
