This updated name reflects the benefit’s evolution and WSDA’s continued focus on delivering strategic, high-impact support to dental practices navigating Washington’s Labor & Industries (L&I) workers’ compensation system.

What Is WSDA L&I Advantage?

While the name has changed, the program’s core benefits remain as strong and reliable as ever. WSDA L&I Advantage provides free workers’ compensation support to WSDA member practice owners through our expert partners at ERNwest. This includes:

• Strategic L&I Claims Management: Our team works closely with your practice to manage workers’ compensation claims efficiently, minimize disruption, and lessen potential impact on your future premium rates.
• Best-in-Class Support: From initial injury reporting to claim resolution, you’ll have help from knowledgeable professionals who understand the unique needs of dental practices.
• Wage Reimbursement for Return to Work: Practices can receive up to $50,000 per claim in wage reimbursements when bringing injured employees back on modified duty.

WSDA Member Receives Nearly $11,000 in Reimbursed Employee Wages

“When I had an employee get injured at work, I received a call from ERNwest about supporting me through the L&I claim. They advised me to bring my employee back to work on modified duty to reduce the claim’s impact on my future premiums.

ERNwest managed the entire process from beginning to end at no cost to me, plus I was reimbursed for 100% of my employee’s wages paid while on modified duty, totaling nearly $11,000.
